At Novela Designs, we are committed to the quality, integrity, and longevity of the jewelry we create. This Limited Craftsmanship Warranty (“Warranty”) outlines the terms under which Novela Designs will service or repair eligible jewelry from our True Comfort Collection.

This Warranty applies exclusively to the True Comfort Collection. It does not apply to any other Novela Designs collection or product.

1. Scope of Warranty

1.1 Coverage

True Comfort Collection jewelry purchased directly from Novela Designs is covered against manufacturing and craftsmanship defects for ten (10) years from the original purchase date.

Coverage includes defects in the workmanship of the setting, structure, and stretch mechanism, where applicable. Coverage of the stretch mechanism applies only to manufacturing or craftsmanship defects—not ordinary wear or damage from excessive stretching, pulling, twisting, or impact.

When Novela Designs confirms a covered defect, we will repair or replace the affected component at no charge to the original purchaser.

Items purchased through a sample sale are excluded from this Warranty.

1.2 Assessment of Eligibility

Novela Designs will inspect the jewelry to determine whether the issue results from a manufacturing or craftsmanship defect.

This Warranty does not cover issues caused by:

• Normal wear and tear;

• Accidental damage;

• Misuse, improper care, excessive force, or impact;

• Damage caused by third-party repairs, resizing, alterations, or other services.

If an issue is not covered, Novela Designs will provide an estimate for any recommended paid repairs before proceeding.

1.3 Extent of Remedy

If a covered defect is confirmed, Novela Designs will, at its discretion:

• Repair the affected component;

• Replace the affected component; or

• Where repair or component replacement is not reasonably possible, replace the item with the same design or a comparable item.

Covered repairs and replacements are provided at no charge. Any additional work outside the scope of this Warranty requires the customer’s approval before charges are incurred.

2. Exclusions and Limitations

2.1 Normal Wear and Tear

This Warranty does not cover the natural aging or deterioration of jewelry through ordinary use. Examples include:

• Dulling or loss of shine: Metal surfaces may lose their original polish over time.

• Scratches and surface marks: Precious metals are susceptible to scratching during everyday wear.

• Deformation caused by external force: Components may bend or become distorted when subjected to pressure, pulling, or impact.

• Plating wear: Rhodium or other surface finishes, where applicable, may gradually fade.

• Wear of moving components: Gradual wear of links or stretch components through ordinary use, where not caused by a manufacturing or craftsmanship defect.

2.2 Diamonds and Gemstones

This Warranty does not cover chipped, cracked, broken, or lost diamonds or gemstones unless the damage or loss is determined to result directly from a covered manufacturing or craftsmanship defect.

Loose settings will be assessed by Novela Designs. Repairs required because of a covered defect will be performed at no charge. Repairs arising from wear, impact, or misuse may incur a fee.

Customers are encouraged to obtain independent jewelry insurance for accidental damage, loss, and theft.

2.3 Third-Party Services

Damage caused by maintenance, repair, resizing, or modification performed by another provider is excluded from coverage.

Third-party service alone does not invalidate coverage for an unrelated manufacturing or craftsmanship defect.

2.4 Third-Party Purchases and Transfers

This Warranty applies only to the original purchaser of eligible True Comfort Collection jewelry purchased directly from Novela Designs and is non-transferable.

Items purchased second-hand or through third-party sellers or marketplaces are not eligible under this Warranty.

2.5 Customer-Provided Stones

If an eligible True Comfort Collection piece incorporates diamonds or gemstones supplied by the customer, this Warranty covers only the craftsmanship of the setting and structure. Customer-provided stones are not covered.

3. Complimentary Services

3.1 Sizing Adjustment

Each eligible True Comfort Collection piece qualifies for one complimentary sizing adjustment within one year of purchase, provided the design and construction allow the adjustment.

Sizing options are subject to assessment by Novela Designs. Certain designs or stretch mechanisms may not permit resizing.

3.2 Cleaning and Polishing

Each eligible piece qualifies for one complimentary deep clean and polish, using methods appropriate for its materials and construction.

Additional cleaning and polishing services may be available for a fee.

4. Warranty Eligibility and Care

To request service under this Warranty, the original purchaser must:

• Provide valid proof of purchase directly from Novela Designs;

• Submit the jewelry for inspection when requested; and

• Provide available information about the issue and any previous repairs or alterations.

Novela Designs recommends annual inspection and cleaning to help identify loose settings, worn components, or other maintenance needs. Missing an annual inspection does not, by itself, invalidate this Warranty.

If a stone becomes loose or a component appears damaged, discontinue wearing the jewelry and contact Novela Designs promptly.

5. Duration of Coverage

This Warranty remains valid for ten (10) years from the date of original purchase.

Throughout this period, coverage applies only to manufacturing and craftsmanship defects. Damage caused by normal wear, misuse, accidents, or external factors is excluded, regardless of when it occurs.

Repair or replacement under this Warranty does not restart or extend the original warranty period.

After the warranty period expires, repairs and other services may be available for a fee.

6. How to Obtain Warranty Service

To request a warranty assessment, contact Novela Designs through:

Please include:

• Your name and contact information;

• Your order number or proof of purchase;

• A description of the issue; and

• Clear photographs, if available.

Novela Designs will provide instructions for submitting your jewelry for inspection. Please do not ship your item before receiving those instructions.

Following inspection, we will explain whether the issue is covered and provide an estimate for any non-covered work. Any applicable shipping or insurance charges will be disclosed before you arrange service.

7. Your Legal Rights

This Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.

Nothing in this Warranty excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
